Machine Operative

Are you staying in or around Redditch? Have you worked before in a production or manufacturing environment? We are currently for the Machine Operative role for an initial 3-month temporary position at DS Smith's Redditch location. During the training period, you will work a standard 8 am - 4 pm shift. Once fully trained, you must be prepared and flexible to work rotating shifts. Job Title: Machine Operative Pay: £12.04 per hour during training, Once fully trained on all the machines, it will increase to £14.44 per hour Overtime: After 8 hours and Saturdays: £18.06 per hour, Sundays: £24.08 per hour Location: DS Smith, Unit 14-15 Padgets Lane, Redditch Worcestershire B98 0RA Hours: 40 hours per week (Paid breaks provided) Experience Required: Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to work flexible shiftsDesirable Criteria: Driving license and access to own vehicleResponsibilities: Operate and maintain machinery Ensure smooth production flow and high-quality output Health and safety awareness, IOSH understanding Randstad Business Support is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
