Role: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Euston, London

Salary: £65,000 + Package (Includes £6K Car Allowance)

Experience within Facilities Maintenance / Building Servies is key

My client who are one the UK s leading building services provider are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team in London. As a pivotal member of their FM team, you will play a crucial role in maximising profit, value, and opportunity while fostering key relationships internally and externally.

You must have experience within building services/facilities maintenance.

About The Role:

The ideal candidate possesses expert knowledge of the FM marketplace and key supply chain operations, including a deep understanding of client framework agreements and procurement processes. They are familiar with various contract forms and commercial management information. Qualifications such as MCIPS are desirable. They excel as proactive team players with strong problem-solving abilities, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. With experience in supply chain management and cost avoidance programs, they exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with COINS is preferable.

This is a full time position working Monday to Friday in Central London.

Key Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager include:

Supply Chain Strategy and Development:

Craft and execute Business Unit / FM Supply Chain Management Strategy.

Lead Procurement Strategies for significant contracts & bids, identifying risks and opportunities.

Manage FM-level Supply Chain Strategy, fostering new relationships for service expansion.

Supply Chain Management:

Represent FM business and fulfil client commitments.

Maintain relationships with preferred supply chain partners.

Drive financial targets and ensure procurement compliance.

Provide visibility at events, communicating key Supply Chain/procurement activities.

Performance Management:

Analyse feedback, identify trends, and recommend improvements.

Develop performance league tables and compile compliance reports.

Present recommendations to enhance performance and engagement.

Communicating and Influencing:

Regularly communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to improve performance.

Influence supply chain partners for cost reduction and performance improvement.

Financial Responsibility:

Monitor regional supply chain spend and achieve rebate targets within the FM business.
