Job DescriptionExperienced Supply Chain ManagerPermanent, Interim or part-time (3 days/week)£ competitive to suit hours and attract talent Access to central London HQ, one day per week Within five years post UK national launch, our client is a true scale-up FMCG business with significant financial backing, and already in the running for an IPO flotation in 2025.In the business of OTC consumer health/wellness categories this scale-up SME, led by an impressive Board of Directors, is already the recognised brand leader as a highly topical new product concept for consumers that is set to transform the world quite literally.We need a qualified and experienced Supply Chain professional to lead and operate a ‘hands-on’ function. This will encompass cross-functional working on the all-important execution of day-to-day supply optimisation into the UK grocery, health & beauty retail and pureplay trade channels.You will love the highly operational nature of this role, the agility to deal with the ever-changing commercial landscape, as well as knowing your subject matter like no other, you will be no stranger to making an impact and contribution at pace.You will continually identify emerging efficiencies that address the shifting, FSA-regulated category needs to ensure the supply chain constantly meets demand and best practice. You will drive capacity-enhancing projects based on forecasted growth. Your priority is optimisation, getting the best out of 3PL and CoMan partnerships. This will include direction of current processes, detailed analysis, and articulated capture of key risks/ops across the current portfolio to manage S&OP most efficiently.The role requires an influential yet highly collaborative style with Commercial, Marketing, and Finance colleagues. You will provide critical input to management decision-making. We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Professional who will stop at nothing to deliver success; someone who enjoys autonomy and freedom to act in delivering SC fundamentals. Your passion for excellence in supply/demand, and entrepreneurial spirit will be as important as your expertise in classical SC principles.
