Site Engineer

I'm working with an established civil engineering contractor who work across Scotland, the contractor is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a large civil engineering project near Inverness.

The right Site Engineer for this business will be someone who's worked for a large sub-contractor on a civil engineering project, they could have experience in working on RC structures, groundworks, earthworks or infrastructure projects.

Some of the responsibilities of the Site Engineer include;

• Setting out for project
• Interpret and execute from construction drawings
• Check drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors
• Keep accurate site records and site diaries
• Liaise with customers and clients to ensure projects are completed within specification
• Promote quality, health and safety and environmental standards on site
• Other Site Engineer related activities

As a Site Engineer you'll have;

• Relevant HND/Degree in a Construction/Civil Engineering field
• Experience on working on civil engineering, RC structures, groundworks projects
• Track record of working on similar projects listed above
• A background in any civil engineering discipline
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem solving abilities
