Building Surveyor (Project Biased) – Industrial / Logistics Investor DeveloperWe are currently working closely with a leading pan-European industrial / logistics investor, developer and manager with a £1+ billion asset portfolio. As they continue to deploy capital in the acquisitions of green and brown field sites in addition to the redevelopment and management of their existing portfolio, they are looking for a project biased Building Surveyor to join their Birmingham office.Location:Birmingham (3/2 flexible working set up)Remuneration:£55,000 - £65,000 + benefits + leading bonusThe Role:The Building Surveyor will join a proactive and dynamic team who manage and impressing 20+ million Sqft mid box, big box and multi-let industrial / logistics portfolio across the UK. The role will report into the Technical Director in a very client / customer facing position working closely with the property / asset management teams to understand the building data and implement future efficiencies through project work. The Building Surveyor will be responsible for delivering asset enhancements, PPM and CAPEX projects valued between £100,000 and c. £4 million in addition to overseeing the external consultant teams providing professional building surveying services such as dilapidations.They are looking for a proactive individual who has good experience of managing projects across the RIBA cycle with additional good professional experience to manage external surveyors and provide information to the internal stakeholders across the portfolio. Experience and an interest in ESG and Carbon neutral assets would be an advantage.
