Data protection advisor

Company Profile: Our client in Stafford is seeking a Data Protection Advisor to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. This role will be pivotal in assuring that the company remains compliant with all areas of data protection. Job Description for the Data Protection Advisor: The Data Protection Advisor will report to the Governance Manager and the duties will include: To provide advice and support to senior management Provide guidance to employees and customers regarding data protection Ensure compliance with relevant legislation (GDPR) Maintain Data Protection registers Processing and responding to SAR’s Processing and investigating any alleged data protection breaches Identifying associated risks and protecting the business Support with developing and implementing policies Preparing reports for meetings and assisting with minute-taking   Requirements for the Data Protection Advisor role: A recognised qualification in data protection or equivalent experience Strong knowledge of data protection application to a business Experience of working to deadlines Must have a driving license Hours:  37 hours per week Salary:  £32,000   Per Annum Brampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region
