Quality Manager

Our client is a leading engineering company that offer a superb working environment and culture. They are looking for a Quality Manager who will be responsible for driving continuous improvements in existing product base as well as providing quality/reliability support on new product development. The Role Assures development programs result in high quality and reliability Ensures team fully understands product requirements, analyses and verifies product designs and processes to ensure high quality and reliability, and follows proven best practices. Participates in Design Reviews to ensure compliance with reliability standards and customer requirements. Provides feedback to customers of quality performance of products. Analysis on product failures – root cause, containment, corrective action. Coordinates with other department’s failure analysis reports, data analysis, corrective action, root cause analysis, and quality performance reports. Owns quality and reliability metrics for products supported. Drives proactive improvements to products based on quantitative analysis. The Candidate Ideally a degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Previous experience in a senior quality engineering role Worked to ISO 9001 and ideally a regulated industry such as Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Marine, Defence etc Experience with a range of quality engineering tools such as root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies Previous experience managing engineering projects and / or small engineering teams Package Offering up to £80,000 with an extremely competitive benefits package including a bonus
