Senior Firmware Engineer - (Hybrid)We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Firmware Engineer to lead NPD innovative technology projects and manage a small team.Join one of the UK's fastest-growing SMEs and be part of their R&D Centre of excellence, supporting a myriad of global group partners with the introduction of a range of smart technology devices.We are seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to help drive the expansion of a design department and develop hardware and embedded software for a new and an expanding product range. The role will be in-charge of developing products and team members, both on-site and remotely.Key Responsibilities:- Designing Firmware and embedded software for use within the organisation’s products lines.- Providing technical guidance to team members- Collaborating with various engineering disciplines within the organisation- Lead on Identifying areas of improvement and assist implementing new processes.Benefits:Salary £60,000+Hybrid Working (Mainly working remotely)Good Bonus RewardsCompany Shares Option33 Days Holidays (Inc Bank Hols)Excellent Pension Contributory scheme - 10.5% ContributionCar Leasing Deals & Free EV charging on site Requirements and Experience:Must have a Degree or similar qualification in Electronics Engineering or comparable subjectSustained experience in embedded firmware design, development, and testing (Essential)Good experience of EMC design and test experience.Good exposure in design validation process – FMEA, DFM.Experience in the creation of supporting design documentation, development reports, BoM, build packsExperience of firmware unit, integration, and system testing.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a R&D Team of multidisciplined skilled staff and contribute to new and innovative projects from a lead position.
