As Shipping and Customer Coordinator, based at our SIFCO Bromsgrove site, you will coordinate the efficient delivery of our surface treatment chemicals. What will you do? Ensure the completion and delivery of customer orders as per customer expectations following all hazardous material goods regulations and best practices. Process quotations and sales orders and the related documentation required (e.g. dispatch notes, invoices, etc.). Be responsible for the shipping and customs process coordinating the transport companies ensuring compliance with hazardous material management regulations and established best practices. Work closely with the customer service, quality assurance (REACH compliance) and other internal teams to ensure customer expectations and company goals are met. Create and deliver reports as required by regulations, internal guidelines and management. Be proactive raising and fostering opportunities for continuous process improvement. Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations and company policies and guidelines. What are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar role within a chemical and/or hazardous material shipping environment. Knowledge of shipping legislation and regulations for hazardous material. Excellent communication skills High safety consciousness.
