The Opportunity

The Digital Learning Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Digital Learning team and our wide variety of learners including from within the Dechra Group and veterinary professionals across the world. The position will play an important role in the day-to-day management of our Learning Management System (LMS), and the delivery and implementation of Digital Learning projects. The role will work closely with the Digital Learning Developers as well as other members of the Global Digital Marketing team.


Main Responsibilities

So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:

  • System Management and Technical Support: Take responsibility for the day-to-day administration and management of the Learning Management System (LMS) and any future associated systems. Supporting improvements to the LMS design, functionality and development ensuring the platform can continue to meet the developing needs of the business. Conduct quality assurance checks on data and functionality to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to standards.
  • User Support and Troubleshooting: Manage the Digital Learning inbox including timely support for system, account and content troubleshooting and technical support assistance. Liaise with external vendors to be aware of updates and complete troubleshooting accordingly.
  • Training and Education: Conduct regular training sessions to promote the use of the LMS and digital learning tools and resources.
  • Content Collaboration: Collaborate with the Digital Learning Developers and relevant stakeholders in the creation, editing, translation, and implementation of new learning content and marketing and communication assets.
  • Content Management: Help to manage the life cycle of digital learning content, ensuring it remains relevant and up-to-date.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Generate reports on platform usage, learner engagement, course completion rates, and other relevant metrics to support decision-making and track progress. Provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all digital asset developments follow corporate branding guidelines and enhance the corporate brand.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with key stakeholders across the business to align projects with business goals and ensure buy-in. Support the Digital Learning team with internal communications, ensuring smooth distribution of updates and information.
  • General: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital learning to drive innovation and efficiency. Responsible for own personal health & safety.

Desirable

  • Previous experience of working in Digital Learning or similar role
  • Previous experience of administrating a Learning Management System
  • English language qualification
  • Degree level qualification
  • Digital learning or media qualification
