Java Server-Side Developer (Contract) Location: London Work Model: Hybrid(2-3 day in office) Client: Leading Banking Institution Role Type: 6-12 months Contract My client, who is a prominent company in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Java Server-Side Developer to join their team on a contract basis. This hybrid role based in London offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in real-time trading and market data environments. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain robust server-side applications using Java, C++, and NodeJS. Work closely with the trading and market data teams to ensure seamless integration and real-time processing of financial data. Implement distributed caching solutions and manage messaging systems for optimal performance in high-availability environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that meet business needs in real-time trading.Key Requirements: Proficiency in Java, C++, and NodeJS - demonstrated work experience in these technologies is essential. Banking experience - must have prior experience working in real-time trading or market data environments. Strong knowledge of distributed caching (e.g., Redis, Hazelcast) and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Why Apply?
