GSL Education is excited to offer an inspiring opportunity for a Science Teacher to join our dedicated team in Isleworth, making a positive impact on the lives of students who need your guidance the most. Position: Science Teacher Location: Isleworth Salary: £145 to £230 per day (dependent on experience) GSL Education is working with a specialist education service that focuses on supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and SEMH. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Science lessons tailored to the individual needs of students with SEMH and moderate learning difficulties. Develop and implement personalised learning plans, adapting teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs. Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and academic curiosity. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to ensure the holistic development of each student. Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching approaches where necessary. Participate in school activities, contributing to the positive school culture and wider community. Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a degree in Science or a related field. Experience teaching Science in a special needs setting, particularly with students who have SEMH and moderate learning difficulties. A strong understanding of differentiated instruction and behaviour management strategies. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. A genuine commitment to inclusive education and a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs.
