Azure Cloud Architect - Energy - ReadingHybrid role 2-3 days a week in Reading office, expenses covered for candidates outside of ReadingSalary £90,000 - £110,000 base salary + packageVallum Associates is working with a leading SaaS company who develop and implement an industry leading cloud-based CIS & CRM solution specifically designed for Energy & Utilities sector. The platform is developed on the powerful Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform, and is delivered as a service in the Microsoft Azure Cloud. Our client has offices in Europe, the UK and North America, they employ over 450 staff.The Azure Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, documenting and managing Azure cloud solutions that meet the strategic needs of their clients to implement the platform. This Azure Architect role demands a deep understanding of azure cloud architecture, excellent technical skills, and a strong ability to translate complex requirements into effective solutions.The Azure Cloud Architect, l candidate will also possess exceptional communication skills and be comfortable in a customer-facing role, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and fostering strong client relationships.As the Azure Architect, you will....Develop and implement cloud architectures using Azure services to meet client requirements.Lead the deployment of Azure solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.Act as the primary technical contact for clients, understanding their needs and translating them into technical requirements.Provide technical guidance and support to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud solutions to ensure they meet performance and availability requirements.Ensure that all cloud solutions comply with security policies and best practices. Create detailed documentation of solutions (e.g. architecture, configuration and set-up) and provide training to clients and internal teams.Support Business Development and Technical Pre-salesAzure Cloud Architect - Key Requirements3-6 years’ experience as a technical/solution architect, with a solid technical background on the Microsoft Azure cloud platformIn-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including but not limited to Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Security.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their business needs, and ensure their satisfaction.Proven experience in designing and implementing Azure-based solutions.Experience with D365 business applications and/or Power Platform is considered a plusRelevant Azure certifications are highly desirable (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Expert)Hands-on person with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Flexible to travel (non-structural)
