MacGregor Black are working with a Consumer Goods business on the search for a Head of Finance. This is a permanent role based in the Newcastle Upon Tyne.
As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for leading the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and direct financial strategy, control systems, processes, and reporting activities
- Produce and deliver comprehensive management information and analysis
- Ensure compliance with regulations and manage cash flow effectively
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance team to achieve excellence
- Monitor and ensure the achievement of departmental budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs
What are we looking for?
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA/ICAS).
- Excellent Leadership Skills
- 4+ years in Finance management
- Experience in an FMCG environment advantageous but not a prerequisite
- Line management experience
