About The Role Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Operate in line with the standardised sales methodology for Claranet Sales. * Provide regular updates to the Inside Sales Manager on performance and KPIs. * Support the marketing team with campaigns aimed at our new logo prospect customers. * Using Claranet systems, tooling and data source, you will hunt, open, nurture and qualify new logo prospects. * Outbound selling activity including phone calls, emails and social selling to arrange customer meetings for virtual/face to face discussions around the portfolio About You Competencies – Organisational and behavioural fit * Flexible and creative to take considered risks * Learn and adapt quickly to changing situations * Manages conflict and challenges in an open and constructive manner. * You will be self-motivated and eager to learn key sales skills, which you will then put into practice to build a consistent track record of success. * Ability to build relationships with potential new clients. Position Summary As a Sales Development Representative in the Claranet Sales Team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, contacting, nurturing and qualifying potential customers of Claranet. Acting as the first point of contact into a prospect, you will develop sales pipeline across Claranet’s portfolio of products and services. You will also participate in our Claranet Sales Academy, a 12-month training programme crafted to equip you with all the essential tools for success. This programme is designed to boost your confidence in the role and guide you towards becoming a well-established salesperson. Role Mission Claranet’s strategy is to grow our customer base in key verticals and to ensure consistently excellent experiences across all customers. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role as the first point contact with new logo prospects and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL’s) while nurturing these emerging relationships. Objectives and Key Results * Frequent high-quality engagement with new prospects to generate first stage relationships. * Understand Claranet and our services portfolio. * Demonstrate learning from our Sales Academy and put into practice in your day to day activities. * Generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities. * Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and set up next actions for co-sell. * Accelerate learning by engaging proactively with the wider sales team to understand the sales processes
