Job Title: Account DirectorLocation: London (Hybrid: Monday & Friday remote, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in-office)Salary: £45-60k p.a. + staff bonus scheme and a range of benefitsThe CompanyMy client is an award-winning strategy and communications agency. The company works with clients across Health, Education, Tech, and Clean Energy/environmental, helping them communicate their positive contributions to complex global issues.With a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture and a passion for driving change, my client has ambitious growth plans and is looking for an Account Director to join their dynamic and expanding team.The RoleThey are seeking an exceptional Account Director to lead diverse programmes of work across Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, reputation management, and crisis communications. The main focus of the role is corporate communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for:Managing client account teams, ensuring high-quality service and client satisfactionDelivering impactful Corporate Communications, Public Affairs, and digital programmesRunning a press office, media planning, and reputation managementBuilding strong relationships with clients, journalists, political and industry stakeholdersWriting corporate materials, press releases, and political analysisManaging and overseeing events in the UK, including Parliament and Party ConferencesContributing to pitching, business development, and writing proposalsNetworking and winning new businessMentoring and managing junior team membersThe CandidateThe ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in an agency or equivalent role and demonstrate:A proven track record of managing complex client programmes with high client satisfactionA proactive, action-oriented mindset with the ability to hit the ground runningExperience in pitching creative ideas and delivering them effectivelyStrong writing skills, particularly in digesting and communicating complex policy issuesAn eye for detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality client serviceExperience in line management and developing junior team membersThe ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentA passion for understanding and addressing complex world issuesMy client is committed to diversity and inclusion, and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates.
