GOAT Interactive is the online division of the Editec Group. The objective of GOAT Interactive is to use the vast knowledge of Africa, combined with digital excellence, to ensure that all of our brands occupy the podium positions in the countries we operate in. With a growing presence in 18 countries, GOAT represents the largest group of gaming brands on the continent.

To help us continue on our already impressive growth trajectory, we’re on the lookout for a brand marketing manager to support the head of performance marketing in delivering upon brand strategies across GOAT’s target markets. This new position is a unique opportunity to spearhead the group’s brand management. Brand equity and userbase growth will be the priority of the successful candidate, contributing to GOAT’s consumer value driving strategy.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Ownership of Premier Bet brand strategy across 18 African markets, driving targeting, positioning and marketing objectives
  • Planning and delivery of brand marketing campaigns in cooperation with local stakeholders
  • Briefing and coordination of advertising material, in cooperation with inhouse design team
  • Local marketing budget management, in cooperation with country management and finance
  • Ownership of quantitative and qualitative competitive insights
  • Monthly reporting on user behaviour and commercial metrics
  • Quarterly reporting on brand health metrics


ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE


  • Trained marketer with a holistic understanding of marketing effectiveness
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a brand management or marketing role, either advertiser-side or agency-side.
  • Either Fluent French or Portuguese speaking.
  • Experience in campaign managing above the line marketing channels (TV, Outdoor, Radio, Brand display)
  • Creative copy writing skills
  • Effective campaign briefing
  • Proven project management experience, enabling you to deliver upon challenging timelines
  • Analytical thinker
  • Effective written and verbal communicator
  • Commercial and ROI driven mindset
  • Entrepreneurial, out-of-the-box thinker with a can-do attitude
  • Team player


IT WOULD BE A BONUS IF YOU…


  • Have worked on tier 1 brands across prominent advertising industries (FMCG, Telcom, Entertainment, Fashion, Technology, Luxury…)
  • Have experience in sportsbetting and/or gaming
  • Are passionate about football and sports
  • Speak both Portuguese and/or French
