About the Role: As the Registered Manager, you will lead and inspire your team, ensuring that the young people in your care experience a safe, nurturing environment that promotes their health, welfare, and overall fulfilment. The approach in the setting is holistic with families and experts all aligned in the best interest of the children. YOU will have the autonomy to make a real difference every day in your setting. Your Key Responsibilities: Safeguard Our Young People : Work hand-in-hand with your team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those in your care. Operational Leadership : Oversee the daily management of the home, including the meticulous upkeep of records and personal files. Individualized Care Plans : Lead the creation, implementation, and monitoring of personalized care plans, working closely with external professionals, agencies, and families. Team Development : Empower your team to foster independence in both residential settings and the wider community, conducting performance reviews and providing regular supervision. Exciting Activities : Support your team in organizing engaging activities, trips, and visits that inspire and enrich the lives of the young people you support. What You Bring: Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – with a willingness to achieve your Level 5 QCF within 2 years if you haven’t already. At Least 2 Years of Management/Supervisory Experience in a care setting within the past 5 years – you’ve got the experience we need. Knowledge of Autism, or Learning Disabilities and Person-Centered Planning – you’re always learning and applying the latest best practices.
