Production Assembly Technician

Location: Cambridge (CB23) Duration: Permanent Hours: 8:30am until 5pm (Monday to Friday) Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 Job Reference: 35450 Polytec are looking for a Production Assembly Technician for our client based a few miles west of Cambridge. You will support the team building RF products. This will include assembly, sub-assembly and contributing to process and product improvement. Responsibilities: * Light electromechanical assembly - prep and build * RF and electrical testing using automated test software * Keeping schedules and work records up to date * Some manufacture of custom parts and/or cables * Some stock management and component kit picking * Supporting various other tasks to improve productivity, quality and safety Requirements: * Able to complete assembly work to high-quality standards compliant with ISO9001 * Able to understand and follow mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams and other documentation * Excellent communication skills and attention to detail * Ability to work effectively and meet deadlines both within a team and on individual tasks The following would be beneficial: * Good soldering skills * RF testing experience * Clean driving licence Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below
