Geography Teacher

The Role: We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of the subject and be able to inspire and engage students across all key stages. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, developing innovative resources, and contributing to the wider school curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and NQTs who are eager to make a difference in a dynamic and supportive setting. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons to students in Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of students. Develop and implement schemes of work in line with the national curriculum. Participate in extracurricular activities, including field trips and clubs, to enhance students' understanding of Geography. Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the Humanities department. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect. Support the school’s commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A relevant degree in Geography or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Geography at secondary level (Key Stages 3-5). A strong commitment to raising standards and achievement for all students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to inspire and motivate students with a passion for Geography.
