Role: Professional Services Consultant / Sales Executive Duration: Contract Location: UK (Remote) Note: Need someone who has experience in selling managed services Prior knowledge/experience - NetApp (good to have), Storage sector (highly preferred), Technology – IT (mandatory) Role Responsibilities: Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including install base analysis, networking events, referrals, and digital prospecting. Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand client needs and pain points, and effectively position our Client managed services as solutions to their business challenges Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organizations, including up to the C-suite level. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and strategies that attract and engage potential clients interested in Client managed services. Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the value and benefits of Client managed services, with a keen focus on understanding service management principles. Foster collaboration with internal teams, establishing relationships and winning their support to promote and evangelise Client managed services within the Client ecosystem. Work closely with our technical team to develop customized proposals and solutions tailored to meet the specific requirements of each client using Client technology. Lead negotiations on pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for Client managed services. Track and manage the customer acquisition pipeline, utilizing CRM tools to document and update all activities and opportunities related to Client managed services. Role Requirements: Proven track record in services sales, preferably in selling managed services or IT solutions, either directly or as part of an account team. A strong understanding of managed services concepts including storage management, data protection, disaster recovery, and cloud solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. Demonstrated ability to identify and qualify leads, and effectively move them through the sales cycle to closure. Proven capability in accurately managing and prioritizing a pipeline with forecast accuracy Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to prospecting and sales activities in the Client ecosystem. Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to navigate complex sales processes. Strong commercial understanding and grasp of positioning the value of different types of expenditure to strategic customers.
