Master Technician/Diagnostic Technician - Main Dealer, Basingstoke Alecto Recruitment is currently seeking a Master Technician/Diagnostic Technician for an established Main Dealer in the Basingstoke area. Role Overview: Location: Basingstoke Hours: 40 hours per week Weekends: 1 in 4 Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 plus bonuses and overtimeResponsibilities: Perform advanced diagnostics and fault-finding on a variety of vehicle models Carry out complex repairs and maintenance work to manufacturer standards Mentor and support junior technicians, providing guidance and training Ensure all vehicles are inspected, repaired, and maintained to a high standard Keep up to date with the latest automotive technologies and best practices Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous approach at all timesRequirements: Fully qualified Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent Proven experience as a Master Technician or Diagnostic Technician in a main dealer environment Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team A valid UK driving license Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanshipIf you are looking for an exciting new challenge and want to join a supportive and dynamic team, we would love to hear from you!
