Quality Inspection Engineer

Quality Inspection Engineer Salisbury £35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum Our well-established client are recruiting for a Quality Inspection Engineer to lead their quality office during an exciting period of growth! Quality Inspection Engineer Roles and Responsibilities: * Co-Ordinate the Quality office including first line management for all staff * Controlling the inspection of all parts received from suppliers, utilising a number of manual and digital inspection and measuring devices and equipment * Initiating and investigating all non-conforming parts * Raising non-conformance reports and liaising with suppliers for corrective actions and countermeasures * Compilation of detailed ISIRs (Initial Sample Inspection Reports) for new products, new suppliers or parts manufactured by modified/repaired tooling * Work with the R&D team regarding product development * Work with Production to close off component quality issues * Ensuring all inspection details are recorded accurately The ideal Quality Inspection Engineer will: * HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar * Experience using CMM (Manual), and other quality measuring equipment including shadowgraphs, verniers etc. * Hands on Engineering experience * Understanding of raw metals and their properties Working Hours: * Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:00 * Friday 09:00 – 16:30 Jackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 27 years.
