Primary School Teacher

Cover Teacher Area: Northampton Salary: £145-£160.00 p/day (pay varies depending on experience and age) Start date: Monday 5th September 2024 Monarch Education are looking for two Cover Teachers with the relevant qualifications or references needed for Teaching in UK Schools. Candidates need to be flexible and can work on a casual basis. Both of these roles are in the same school, 5 days a week to cover x2 Maternity Posts. Travel is restricted for candidates on public transport The ideal candidate will: Have Teaching experience or references commenting on their experience as an Unqualified Teacher Be highly organised with excellent communication skills Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children Have excellent behaviour management skills Be able to plan lessons thoroughly or follow other plans created by Teachers Lead a class of 20-30 children Work on a casual basis Main Responsibilities: Planning lessons and activities for whole class learning and group learning Supporting SEND children with their work and working 1:1 with these pupils Managing difficult behaviours Taking the register Supervising on lunch and break times Supporting and managing teaching assistants within the classroom Building relationships with staff and pupils Collecting evidence of children's work to support their assessments Feedback to the relevant member of staff about the children's progress Benefits of working with Monarch Education: You will be paid a competitive daily wage, based on your experience Dedicated consultant allocated to support you with any questions or concerns Support in writing CV's and job applications Fast, effective compliance service £200 for any successful referral of Teachers and £100 for Teaching Assistants!
