We are looking to appoint a highly competent and enthusiastic individual who is a real team player to join our growing school community as soon as possible. This appointment will support a pupil with an EHCP for their educational, physical and personal care needs. This includes one-to-one activities and in small groups. The successful candidate will be required to support teaching staff in the delivery of a quality curriculum in line with the vision and ethos of the school. The role will require the successful candidate to be:passionate about supporting pupils who have additional needs, through a nurturing approach that enables the pupils to gain a real sense of belonging and develop their independence overtimehighly professional and be able to demonstrate their integrityawareness of autism and early communication strategies e.g) visual timetable, objects of reference etc,autonomous in their work, following all Academy policies, specifically in relation to safeguarding, child protection and confidentialityenthusiastic and hardworking, and flexible in their approachknowledgeable about the primary national curriculumcapable of supporting the delivery of an individualised curriculum to meet the requirements of the EHCP under the direction of the class teachercapable to adapting activities, taking account of the interests of the pupilexcellent users of the English language both orally and in writingcommitted to our children's progress and success.Visits to the school are encouraged and welcomed.
