Sea Freight Exports Clerk

We are now recruiting for the Manchester office which is based in Altrincham for a Freight Forwarding Sea Freight Exports Clerk

Key duties and responsibilities:

Using Cargowise system to complete Export documentation and operational processes.
Communicate effectively with customers to obtain relevant information and ensure their needs are met.
Taking sea freight exports bookings
Ensure legislative compliance in all areas.
Maintain Customer profiles/SOP's
Resolve customer issues and escalate where support is needed.
Liaise with approved third-parties to arrange carriage of goods to various worldwide destinations.
Raise payable invoices to customers and overseas agents in accordance with agreed rates and tariffs, whilst monitoring financial Profit & Loss levels on own shipments.
Complete all administration functions in accordance with company policy and procedures.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: 28,000- 32,000 Circa
Annual leave; 31 days. Increases after 3 years' service by 1 day a year, up to a further 5 days.
