Registration Officer (Applications)

Starting Salary: £26,369 per annum (Grade 3) Hours: Full time (37 hours per week) Enhanced Annual Leave: 25 days per annum (plus bank holidays & Christmas shutdown) Annualised Hours: Working extra hours means taking extra leave! Do you have a minimum of one year’s general office/admin experience and are proficient in use of the Microsoft Office suite? If you answered yes to the questions above, then you should apply for this opportunity at South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils, where you will: • Ensure planning applications are properly and accurately assessed, and where complete, registered within a maximum of three days. • Ensure that all applicants are notified where their applications are deemed incomplete or invalid, making it clear what needs to be done to validate their submissions. • Process refunds and return incomplete applications to applicants where detail has been requested and not submitted within 28 days of initial request. • Ensure the web-pages are regularly reviewed and kept up to date.
