Company Overview: We're partnered with an exciting Swedish EV charging start-up. As they expand their presence in the UK, we're seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales manager to join the team. Their cutting-edge technology, commitment to sustainability, and industry-leading designs position them at the forefront of the EV charging revolution. Job Summary : As the Remote Sales Manager , you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding our customer base within the EV charging industry. You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and closing deals with commercial, industrial, and public sector clients. You will work closely with the marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business relationships. Key Responsibilities : Lead Generation & Business Development : Identify, target, and engage with potential customers in the commercial, industrial, and public sectors to promote EV charging solutions. Sales Strategy : Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Deal Closure : Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Prepare and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with a focus on meeting customer needs. Market Research : Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes in the EV charging space. Collaboration : Work with the marketing team on lead generation campaigns and collaborate with the product and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Reporting & Analytics : Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to senior management to inform business strategy and growth plans. Qualifications & Experience : Proven Sales Experience : 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably within the EV charging, renewable energy, or related technology sectors. Industry Knowledge : Understanding of the electric vehicle ecosystem, charging infrastructure, and the energy market in the UK. Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills : Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to a variety of stakeholders. Customer-Centric Approach : Experience managing and growing customer relationships, with a focus on delivering value and achieving customer satisfaction. Self-motivated : Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload with minimal supervision. Technical Proficiency : Comfortable using CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams). Preferred Qualifications : Experience working in a fast-growing technology or green energy company. Established network within the EV or renewable energy space.
