The company:
JBAndrews is working with a global Freight Forwarding, Contract Logistics & Transport company operating globally with several agents and key partners, looking to strengthen their UK Air & Sea Freight operation. They provide Air, Ocean, Road & Rail Freight solutions and supply chain optimisation solutions throughout Europe in particular with a focus across multiple customer sectors.
The role:
- Establish, build, and drive the sales activity for the UK setup driven by London in particular
- Full responsibility for the new sales activity for the country’s Air & Sea Freight activity
- Manage & lead a small team of Inside Sales Executives with the view of building the team further.
- Drive growth of the products.
- Support the regional / global network.
- Establish best practice and modernise the business.
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree educated or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Proven success and experience within the UK market.
- Experienced in growing freight forwarding branches would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal skills
