Job Overview: Our client, a reputable and expanding company based in Newry, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Part Sales Advisor to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that the sales process runs smoothly, and driving sales growth within the parts department. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Provide expert advice and support to customers, identifying and supplying the correct parts based on their needs and specifications. Sales Generation: Maximise sales opportunities by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional parts and accessories. Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions. Stock Management: Assist in maintaining optimal stock levels by monitoring inventory, placing orders, and managing stock rotation. Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest product offerings, industry trends, and technical details to advise customers effectively. Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints and issues professionally, finding solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both retail and trade customers, understanding their requirements and delivering tailored solutions. Administration: Maintain accurate records of sales, orders, and customer interactions within the companys systems. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a parts sales role, preferably in an automotive, industrial, or related field. Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and components, or a willingness to learn. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in using inventory and sales management software. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Desirable Attributes: Prior experience in a similar role within the Newry area. Familiarity with a wide range of parts and equipment. A strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle challenges effectively. A proactive and self-motivated approach to sales. Benefits: Competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum.
