Summary
Commercial acumen and a recent proven experience in a similar role (such as Insight Analyst, Data Insight analyst in consumer marketing etc) ideally from the services sector (telco, bank, insurance)
Success track in synthesising complex and ambiguous information in order to drive actionable insight brought to life through communication and visualisation
Proficiency in SQL, GCP big query, good knowledge of python will be greatly appreciated
Innate curiosity about customers, products and competitors
Cooperative and positive can-do attitude
What I’ll be doing – your accountabilities
Understanding business context and expectations and translating into practical approaches to data analysis
Applying a broad range of techniques (data mapping, exploration, preparation, big data analytics, visualisations, profiling, business analysis, statistical significance analysis) for gathering the insights and identifying meaningful trends from the data
Generating tactical analysis to distil the insights, identify opportunities & make recommendations
Articulating trends using tactical data visualisation techniques and efficiently communicating actionable insights tailored to the audience and business needs
Defining business dashboard requirements for Qlik developers
Defining requirements to data engineers for flags as well as data products creation
Proactiveness and ability to work autonomously and propose practical and differentiated solutions to problem statements and good expectation management

Data visualisation for business presentations and dashboard design
Delivering effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences
Ability to pull the data from the databases, joining multiple sources and aggregating as necessary for extraction (mandatory use of SQL, python is a plus). Because data preparation will be c.25% of the role, the candidate requires technical background and comfort with this activity.
Mandatory experience GCP BigQuery
Cooperative and positive attitude in a group setting to achieve common goals
Ability to act as a data analyst (e.g. Data Models, Requirements, Data Flows) is a plus

Experience you would be expected to have
4+ years’ experience in the relevant field or equivalent
Practical experience in Agile methodologies PREFERRED
