Senior Physiotherapist
Salary: Up to £41,000
37.5 hours per week

About You:
Educational Background: A Diploma or BSc in Physiotherapy.
Professional Registration: Current and valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Specialist Membership: Membership in a specialist interest group (ACPIN or ACPOPC) or willingness to join.
Continued Professional Development: Evidence of ongoing professional development in the field.
Relevant Experience: Experience working in a similar setting, demonstrating the ability to apply evidence-based practice and outcome measures effectively.
Clinical Skills: Skilled in physiotherapy assessments and interventions, with a strong foundation in complex clinical reasoning.

As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in the lives of service users, focusing on optimising their independence and physical function. Your responsibilities will include:
Comprehensive Assessments: Conducting thorough assessments of service users' needs, utilising your investigative and analytical skills to create individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans.
Promoting Choice: Advocating for service users by reviewing clinical practices and enhancing their experience, while encouraging open communication about concerns and suggestions.
Collaboration: Working closely with other health and social care professionals, as well as volunteers, to ensure seamless planning and delivery of physiotherapy services.
Equipment Management: Overseeing the prescription, provision, and maintenance of equipment, ensuring it meets the needs of service users within available resources.
Record Keeping: Maintaining up-to-date written and electronic records in line with professional standards, ensuring sensitive information is securely handled.
Clinical Leadership: Demonstrating leadership in clinical practice and promoting supervision within the team.
Knowledge Sharing: Providing formal and informal training to colleagues, sharing your expertise to enhance team skills.
Training Plan Development: Leading the local training initiatives for staff to deliver effective physiotherapy interventions as part of holistic care.
Service Management: Ensuring a safe working environment and maintaining service user confidentiality while occasionally taking on additional tasks to support the team.
