We are working with a client looking for a lead Software Engineer to join a growing team focusing on risk management in the center of London!
If your application is successful you will:
? take responsibility for the quality of code written by your team
? influence and coach a team of engineers
? help align your team and others on on goals, outcomes, and timelines
? design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and enhance our APIs and web applications
? collaborate with product management to define and implement the technical roadmap
Must have:
? coach your team to reach your level of expertise
? take responsibility for working out the best thing to do for our customers and our
long-term future and then deliver it
? write PHP Laravel, JavaScript,, CSS/SCSS and SQL
? explain REST, HTTP methods, error codes and the general architecture of the internet
? understand web security
Nice to have:
? have prior experience with Vue.js/Nuxt.js or Typescript
? understand containerisation
? have written API specifications
? have worked with microservices
? have prior experience with Flutter or Dart
? have used Zend/Laminas
? want to line manage people
