Business Studies Teacher Location: South Shields, Newcastle Salary Scale: £120 - £180 per day Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Part-time/Full-time Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation of business leaders? GSL Education Newcastle is currently seeking a dedicated Business Studies Teacher for a client school in South Shields. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging business studies lessons to secondary students. Job Summary: A Business Studies Teacher will be expected to plan and deliver a curriculum that encourages students to think critically about business practices and entrepreneurship, preparing them for their future careers. You will also assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to foster their academic development. Responsibilities of a Business Studies Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies. Assess student work and provide feedback to improve academic achievement. Support students in developing critical thinking and practical business skills. Collaborate with colleagues to develop the Business Studies curriculum. Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment. Qualifications for a Business Studies Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and passion for business and economics. Excellent classroom management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
