Credit Analyst

Are you looking to advance your career in credit management? I am working with a market leading Energy business on a new Credit Analyst role, reporting directly to the Head of Credit. If you have experience in energy portfolios, credit analysis, and contract negotiation, this role could be a perfect fit!

6 month FTC. Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day-to-day management of the energy portfolio, providing essential administrative support to the Credit Team.
• Conduct thorough credit analysis, recommending credit ratings, limits, and contractual terms.
• Present findings and recommendations to the Head of Credit and Credi. Committees.
• Negotiate energy trading documentation and credit support documents
• Monitor daily excess positions and manage late settlement payments.
• Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly credit reporting.
• Maintain and update the credit system to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in credit analysis and management within the energy sector, or across derivative portfolios
• Strong knowledge of energy trading documentation and credit support agreements.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in credit reporting and system maintenance.
• A team player with a proactive and analytical mindset.
