Main responsibilities

• Preparing tooling quotations based on customer drawings against production capabilities

• Preparing drawings for tooling, packing specification, machining and cutting
• Working closely with other departments on any drawings required

Main duties

• General drawings support
• Analyse drawings, highlight potential issues, discuss projects with production for feasibility check
• Produce die drawings and seeing it through all design stages cooperating with die shop manager to make sure the feasibility of the new profile
• Preparing quotations
• Uploading new profiles and amending existing ones in ERP system
• Advise Area Managers about potential changes to customer sections
• Collaborate with marketing to produce all sales literature and prepare product launching
• Reporting to Operations Director

Skills / Knowledge

• Proficient level using AutoCAD 2D
• Fully computer literate
• Able to interpret and produce drawings
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Good work organisation
• Thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design

Schedule:

Mo-Th: 8 am-4 pm / Fr: 8 am-3:30 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Office based role.

Salary up to £28k depending on experience of the candidate.
