We have a proud technical heritage and are seen as problem solvers irrespective of the application or industry.We are looking for a Technical Manager to lead on product development, product support and regulatory management. Working closely with sales, customers and production, you will form a pivotal part of the Technikraft Team.You be a qualified Chemist and an experienced Technical Manager / Head of Technical. You’ll be ready to lead team of 4, be hands on, and excited by being a part of the broader commercial process. Technikraft manufacture consumer and industrial products, ranging from lubricants to hard surface cleaners. Experience in HI&I is preferred, but other industrial chemistries may be applicable.Responsibilities:Regulatory management – ensuring product comply with relevant regulations, and managing customer queries e.g. CLP, REACH, Cosmetics Regulation, Detergents Regulation, etc. Reviewing regulatory horizon to ensure future compliance and identifying upcoming risks.New Product Development – working on customer briefs for new products. Managing and improving the NPI process.Existing product support – refining existing products, reviewing options to reformulate as regulations/raw material availabilities changeLine management – leading a team of two development chemists and the QC Lab team.Production support – working with operations team to react to production challengesRaw Material Management – managing and refining management of raw material data. Supporting Procurement Manager with introduction of new materials.  Label compliance – managing artwork review to ensure compliance with relevant regulationsCOSHH – working with SHEQ Manager to ensure appropriate documentation to support all chemicals handed on siteCustomer interaction – join sales team to support new and existing businessTo apply please send your CV and covering letter indicating current salary expectations.NO AGENCIES PLEASE
