Our products and solutions help to diagnose, prevent, and treat illnesses, further scientific research and keep people safeOlympus is hiring for a National Sales Specialist, to join the Customer Solutions team looking after the North of England What is the purpose of this position?Responsible for sales of the Olympus Customer Solutions portfolio of healthcare IT solutions (nCare, VaultStream, MedPresence, EasySuite) and integrated operating theatres (ENDOALPHA) at a national level.Employing segmentation and targeting to identify appropriate new business opportunities and then managing through all stages of the integrated sales process (ISP) to successful close, collaborating with all key internal and external stakeholders as required.What are the key responsibilities for this position?Sales lead generation and developmentBusiness planning and management of pipeline through CRMWorking closely with Project Management team at all stages of sales opportunity development, but especially with respect to “Turnkey” projectsContribution to the development of Customer Solutions marketing and business strategy in collaboration with teamManagement of Customer Solutions Healthcare Professional Experts (HCPEs)Working alongside sales colleagues from other business units including Surgical Endoscopy, ENT, Urology, Gastro & Respiratory, and Surgical Devices for cross divisional opportunitiesWhat skills and qualifications are we looking for?Minimum 3 years’ experience working in field-based technical sales roles (Healthcare / Medical Devices sector experience preferred)Experience of working on capital integration / infrastructure / Healthcare IT projects in collaboration with project managers preferredClear and concise written and spoken communication skillsAbility to present information in a structured and balanced wayCan use standard applications to process, obtain and combine information such as mail merges, databases etc.Analytical approach; able to use data to assess available options and support chosen course of actionNaturally collaborative, team-orientedDemonstrates high levels of self-motivation and ownership / accountabilityAbility to work as part of a teamWilling to travel on a national levelWhat does Olympus offer?In addition to a competitive salary, Olympus contributes greatly to employee pensionsAll employees are eligible for private medical cover and life assuranceA generous annual leave entitlement which increases over your length of serviceWe have a subsidised staff restaurant on-site at our UK HQ (and free parking, of course)Company Car or Car AllowanceIncentive PackageOther benefits include discounted gym membership, a free annual health check and so much more!At Olympus, we have a dedicated in-house Talent team that cover all areas of the business.
