Material Inspector (UK)

We are hiring a Materials Inspector for a very good client of ours, a UK-based high-growth start-up in the Recycling space About our client: Our client operates the recycling industry’s first digital B2B marketplace, underpinned by AI enhanced material quality control. They combine technology and deep industry expertise to simplify every step of the trading experience and are proud to count 400 of the most forward thinking recycling facilities across the globe as their customers. In November 2023, they closed their $19.5m Series A and are backed by US’ & UK’s most renowned ClimateTech investors. They've also received personal investment from some of Europe’s most successful founders (e.g. Revolut, Monzo, Songkick & InFarm founders), as well as founders of several successful B2B Marketplaces About the Role: Be an integral member of the Quality Control Operation to certify material quality and inspect loadings. Key Responsibilities: Provide industry leading quality control assessments for supply sites in Europe Become an expert in material quality and grading Build relationships with supply sites and confidence in the inspections service Use internal AI tooling to improve quality of materials through on-site inspections Requirements: Strong attention to detail, an eye for errors and omissions Technologically savvy with an understanding of AI Experience with a working operational site whether that is in the waste industry, construction industry or something similar Ability to travel domestically and internationally Ability to follow instructions and navigate difficult situations What We Offer: Competitive salary, with attractive equity options 26 days annual leave ( all national holidays) - the national holidays are flexible so you can take them whenever suits Hybrid role.
