Job Title: Teacher of Business Location: Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire Contract Type: Temp to Perm / Permanent Placement Salary: M1 - UPS3 (Paid to Scale, Initially via Day-Rate if Temp to Perm) Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM + Additional (Full Teacher Responsibilities) Position Overview: A school in Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire, is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Business to join their team. This role offers flexibility with either a Temp to Perm arrangement or a Permanent contract for the right candidate. The successful candidate will take on full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivering, and assessing lessons in business studies. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality business studies lessons to students of varying abilities. Plan and prepare engaging lesson materials in line with the curriculum. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure student development. Participate in department meetings and contribute to curriculum development. Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour. Foster a positive learning environment and encourage student participation.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, or equivalent teaching qualification. Strong knowledge of business studies and the ability to teach effectively. Previous experience teaching business at the secondary level is desirable. Good organisational and communication skills.
