Our London office is looking to recruita Part II / III Architect or Technician.This position is a contract position for minimum of 3-6months, with the potential to turn into permanent employment subject to project load and performance.ExperiencedPart 2 Part 3 Architect or Technician|Available Immediately (3-6 month contract initially)Finkernagel Ross are seeking a Part II / III Architect or Technicianto join its team.As a design-led well established studio located on Shoreditch High Street we have high aspirations in response to a number of exciting and varied high-calibre commissions.The position is primarily office-based to ensure a stimulating and proactive workflow within the team and the efficient running of our projects.However we do offer hybrid working with regards to working from home when and where appropriate and subject to an agreed schedule. Role DescriptionAs a member of a design team, you will assist with the overall development and implementation of multiple projects, under the guidance of the Project Leader along with the support of your team. You are required to be proficient in AchiCad as anessential.Key ResponsibilitiesUnder the guidance of the project leader, accurately prepare and develop drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the projectDevelop, as directed, representations of design options for further discussion by the design teamIndependently ensure all work is adequately checked by the project leader before issued to senior project team members and external parties; Actively shadow the work of the Architects, Associates and Directors in order to develop the skills to progress to those roles in the future; Contribute to thesmooth running of the office.Personal AttributesAble to build relationships both externally and internally; Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; Able to take and implement instructions and targets from project leader; Willingness to assist and support other team members as well as a willingness to receive assistance and support from other team members; Self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.Qualifications / SkillsArchitectural Technician training with UK Part 2/ 3; Proficient in AchiCad as anessential (Candidate should be familiar with ArchiCad Schedules, Hotlinks, Layer Junction order, Material Priority, Graphic & Model view override, Renovation status, Book Settings and Issue Sheets, Document markers and automated numbering.An understanding of the following software programmes (AutoCad, Sketchup, PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; and Twinmotion a plus);Excellent organisational skills; Good drawn, written and verbal communication and organisation skills; Salary and benefits package will be commensurate with experience and the nature of this role.To apply for this position please send us your CV (max two A4 pages) and a selection from your design portfolio to showcase your best work to:[email protected] agents please.We endeavour to respond to all enquiries, but the sheer volume of applications we receive may at times prevent us from contacting candidates other than those shortlisted for interview and who meet the specific criteria as set out in the advert above.
