Packing Operative - Wigan - Immediate Starts - Apply Today! Assist Resourcing is looking for Packing Operatives in the wigan area, to work for our client, a local carpet wholesaler. Our client has immediate starts available, and full training will be given for this role in the warehouse, however we are looking for people that have previous experience. This is a really exciting temporary to permanent opportunity. The tasks of a Packing Operative will include: Feeding carpet tile samples through a machine Brushing off the loose threads Sticking a label on the back to show the colour and name of carpet Stacking the carpet tile samples up into piles and palletising Gluing small samples onto a sample board that is moving down the conveyor Other general Packing Operative dutiesYou will be on your feet for the whole shift, and there is a lot of bending and moving around.
