JOB – Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

LOCATION – Chelmsford

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £55,000 - £70,000 per annum

A Chelmsford based manufacturing company are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Electrical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• HNC or equivalent/ higher electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
• Previous electrical design experience for BMS/ Commercial projects & environments.
• Proficient with electrical design packages such as AutoCAD, Amtech & Trimble.
• Lighting design experience using Dialux/ Relux is also beneficial.
• Full UK driving license
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

The Electrical Design Engineer’s duties will involve:

• The development of electrical designs & technical drawings/ documentation.
• Liaising with customers & other departments within the company to ensure requirements are met.
• Attending site visits when required.
• Providing support to junior engineers when required.
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
