We are working exclusively with on of the UK’s leading suppliers of Fresh Fruit to many of the UK’s major retailers. They are now on the hunt for a highly capable Packaging Demand Planner who will manage the supply and procurement of the full range of packaging materials to meet the business needs. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely provision of packaging, packaging information, stock management and forecasting to meet retailer orders and packhouse operations requirements. Manage and control packaging distribution in line with demand and forecasting to ensure packaging pricing, customer service, monthly business reviews, and promotion of new product lines supports our clients objectives. Key Accountabilities * Manage the end-to-end supply of packaging into the business to meet demand requirements. * Support supply agreements and contracts and maintain and price agreement aligned with forecasted volume breaks. * Managing the scheduling and forecasting of packaging to ensure adherence to critical launch dates, time, budget and quality parameters * Align customer plans from sales SKU’s to a packaging forecast converted to production skus by packhouse. * Packaging and Finance’s stock alignment, ensuring the accounts are level with minimal queries resulting in low to no yearly adjustments. * Review and evaluate KPIs with key external stakeholders to optimise performance and drive efficiencies Qualifications, experience, and skills * Experienced, successful, and knowledgeable Demand Planner within the FMCG environment within packaging (minimum of three years experience) * Advanced knowledge of Excel, possessing the ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data relevant to business tasks * You’ll need to be able to respond quickly to changes in market conditions or supply chain disruptions * Be accustomed to working under pressure and meeting time critical deadlines * Highly numerate and commercially focused with emphasis on attention to detail * Excellent communication skills This is a full-time role.
