QA Lead

Role: QA Lead Location: Woolpit/Hybrid Salary: Competitive DOE We are working with an innovative client in the utilities sector, looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Lead to join their team at their Woolpit office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a QA professional with a strong background in test automation to take ownership of the company's quality assurance efforts, shaping the future of software quality within the organisation. The Role: You will be responsible for establishing and managing the company's quality assurance processes, ensuring software solutions are delivered to the highest standards. You will lead a team of test analysts, providing mentorship and support to ensure success. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (developers, project managers, business stakeholders), you will align testing objectives, develop comprehensive test plans, and implement test automation frameworks. You will also manage defect resolution and participate in release management activities. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a QA/Test Manager, with expertise in test automation. Ability to implement and manage test automation frameworks. Strong knowledge of performance testing, version control systems (Git), and CI/CD pipelines. ISTQB certification or equivalent.
