Your responsibilities will include: * Responding swiftly to unexpected issues in the work environment to minimise disruptions to the business * Assisting the team in achieving key departmental KPIs such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) * Scheduling machine downtime with production to perform necessary maintenance, repairs, or modifications * Analysing equipment history, assessing breakdowns, and taking corrective action to reduce machine downtime * Providing technical assistance, documenting processes, and creating manuals and drawings to facilitate quick machine recovery What You’ll Bring: * Recognised engineering apprenticeship and hands-on experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing setting * Minimum ONC or City & Guilds Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) * Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and handle a variety of maintenance tasks * PLC fault-finding experience (Allen Bradley/Mitsubishi is desirable) * Proficiency with machine tools and experience working with AC, DC, and Servo Drives * Solid understanding of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices
