Aerospace Graduate Engineer

On behalf of our client, an established Aerospace Tier 1 Manufacturer, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Commercial Estimator to join their growing team in Hinckley. This role is ideal for a recent graduate in Engineering, Computer Sciences or similar who possesses strong Excel skills and is eager to develop a career in the aerospace industry. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for potential career progression.Key Responsibilities:Support on Quoting: Assist in preparing and reviewing quotes for large packages of work, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.ERP System Utilisation: Use the company's ERP system to input, track, and manage data related to estimates and quotes.Assist BD Managers and Estimating Engineers: Provide day-to-day support to Business Development Managers and Estimating Engineers, aiding in their tasks and facilitating smooth operations.Quote Review and Update: Regularly review and update quotes using Excel, ensuring data is current and accurate.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Excel Proficiency: Skilled in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and preparing quotes.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP systems is desirable, but training will be provided.Benefits:Competitive salaryLife assurance coverAccess to Employee Assistance ProgrammePension contribution25 days holiday plus BHOn-site parkingCareer Progression:The Junior Commercial Estimator role offers significant opportunities for career growth within our company.
