Assistant Quantity Surveyor

We're recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a leading consultancy in the built environment. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to gain exposure at both the pre and post-contract stages, working on a diverse range of projects across sectors such as residential, education, retail, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: * Provide expert cost advice on building projects. * Evaluate project costs and suggest alternative proposals. * Advise on contract arrangements and construction conditions. * Review tenders and provide in-depth reporting. * Participate in contractor meetings and negotiations. * Offer advice on the impact of various construction methods and materials. * Prepare monthly cost reports and final accounts. What We’re Looking For: * A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar RICS-accredited course. * Experience in a consultancy environment, which you can showcase on your CV and discuss during interviews. * A strong desire to work towards becoming an MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor.
