We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join a team at a site in Somerset. The role involves conducting electrical safety checks, PAT testing, planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and some installation work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Adhering to high health and safety standards.
- Understanding and complying with building statutory requirements.
- Performing regular monitoring and inspection of all equipment as part of a preventative maintenance program.
Requirements:
- Full, current driving license.
- IT literacy for record-keeping.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Physical capability to perform all duties outlined in the job description.
The ideal candidate will have a background in facilities or mobile maintenance within the construction sector or a similar field. Qualifications should include either Level 2/3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, as well as the 18th edition certification. Test and inspect qualifications (2391) are preferred.
The position requires working in controlled areas of the site under C2 and C3 conditions, with training provided for these tasks.
This is a site-based role, and candidates must have access to a vehicle for travel, as public transport is not available.
