NPD Technologist

NPD Technologist Alexander Steele have partnered with an established multi-site food manufacturing business. Our client is seeking for an experienced development technologist to join the business on a permanent basis. You will play a fundamental role in the end-to-end development of new products, ensuring they align with retailer standards and consumer demands. Responsibilities: * Develop products to agreed customer briefs and present for internal & customer approval. * Lead the development of new food products from concept to launch, ensuring they meet customer specifications and align with retailer standards. * Conduct product trials, shelf-life testing, and sensory evaluations, ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams – technical, quality assurance and operations. Background Experience: * Degree in Food Science or a similar field * 2+ years of experience in a npd technologist role within a food manufacturing business. * Experience of working within product development in a food environment * Strong Knowledge of food labelling and specifications. * Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills What’s on Offer: * Paying £35,000 * 32 days holiday * Strong pension * Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm For more information regarding this opportunity contact Lomond MacPherson for further discussion
